A picture’s worth a thousand words, right? In our visual culture, an image draws attention long before a headline does. So it seems like a no-brainer to put images on your blog posts.
So, how and where do you get them?
What you don’t do is use any old photo you find on someone’s website. Photos are copyrighted by the photographer. You have to use photos that the photographer has decided to give away, or you can pay a small fee for using them from a stock photo site.

Or you can be insanely passionate about the project and pay an artist to create your characters visually so you can use them for all manner of media promotion…like I did ^___^ 28 characters to use for the website, book covers, Cafe Press shop tee-shirts and more. The first Fantasy series book isn’t published yet but SOON. Recording three songs professionally that were written by me and used in the book won’t hurt either.
