As Castle Gate Press approaches its one year anniversary of accepting submissions of novels with a twist of the fantastic, we see a marked increase in the number of submissions we receive each month.
The word is getting out, and there are several reasons why:
1) Excellent content on our blog. Our Fantastic Fiction blog contains articles with marketing advice, writing tips, detailed articles on how to write a proposal, and guest articles from our editors and many others.
2) The release of our first novel, The Day She Died, by Bill Garrison
3) Word of mouth: Our blog subscribers, Facebook fans, and Twitter followers are spreading the word. Thank you! If you haven’t joined us yet, scroll down on the right-hand side and enter your e-mail address to subscribe. We don’t send out spam or sell our e-mail list, plus you will receive your choice of freebie (listed above the subscription box). Or click on one of the links above to stop by and say hello on one of Castle Gate’s social media outlets.
Do you have a novel with a twist of the fantastic? Maybe it’s been turned down by other publisher because they don’t like the bit of strangeness. We like strange, and we’d love to see it! If you (or anyone you know) has a book in any genre that has a something unusual going on–maybe an experiment gone wrong, time travel, or something supernatural–you may have just what we’re looking for. For further information, please check out our Submission Guidelines, then if your story fits, follow the guidelines and send it our way. Your book might be just what we’re looking for.
