As I created the list of genre descriptions for last week’s Writing Wednesday post, I noticed that the list of sub-genres for each stretched quite long. Rather than extending the description of each genre to mention the vast array of sub-genres, I decided to list each separately.
Going alphabetically, we will start today with Adventure. If you love writing or reading adventure novels, you may find some new avenues to follow from this list.
ADVENTURE

Although we could technically say that all suspense/thriller novels fall under the adventure banner as well, stories with this specific type of adventure are generally treated as a genre in its own right.
Our genre discussion this week on our Facebook page is continuing its look at the romance genre. Please join us for fun talk about what you like and don’t like at Castle Gate Press Facebook Page.
